Short story about our organization
The International Committee for the protection of Taxpayers rights in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia is a public organization which was founded by non-government organizations which protect of taxpayer’s rights in February, 2002 at the First International Taxpayers Conference in Eastern Europe. The committee was registered by the Ministry of Justice in Ukraine on June 18, 2002. The Committee is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The Committee is a non-political organization and supports no one’s position regarding national and foreign policies of countries.
The Committee is the federation of taxpayers associations and other non-governmental Organizations that protect taxpayers’ rights and interests in East European and Central Asian countries. The Committee is the member of the World Taxpayers Networking and was founded by the World Taxpayers Association, Taxpayers Association of Europe, Ukrainian Taxpayers Association, Taxpayers Union of Russian Federation and Fund of Tax Advisors of Kirgizstan. The main purpose of the Committee’s establishment is to perform scientific and educational activities for protection of taxpayers’ rights (economic, social and other rights and interests of the taxpayers), exchange experience between public organizations with working with human right area in countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The Committee was created to unite forces of all the establishments of all kinds of property, to implement mutually advantageous cooperation and feedback with the state authorities of all levels, to promote economical development of the regions (districts, cities, areas) and to create the proper environment for economical development of the state as a whole.
